House Teams & Phoenix Points
House Team Games
Each month teachers and students participate in a games assembly. House Team Game Assemblies are designed to promote non-competitive games that inspire students to work collaboratively with their peers. Our teams are made up of children from PK-G5 classes. Students work together to earn positive rewards for their group. These assemblies are one of many ways Seoul provides opportunities for students and teachers to interact in fun and creative ways outside of the classroom.
Phoenix Points are our primary positive reward system for recognizing excellence in learning, communicating, showing good citizenship, thinking creatively and reasoning critically. Teachers give Phoenix Points, to elementary students, which they can donate to charities (for cash) or enter them into monthly drawings. Each Month we recognize Phoenix Point winners at our assemblies. This is a great way we can recognize student’s efforts each day for many outstanding contributions.
